Brookdale Gateway and Carport

Brookdale Residence

This project called for the design/ build of a decorative and warm entry gate to the back yard section, as well as a privacy fence/ carport. The client was interested in using recycled old growth redwood which came from picnic tables and other infrastructure from a state park which was heavily affected by wildfires. The look is meant to organically compliment the natural landscape, while paying homage to California Redwood Modern, and Wonky Artisan rounded styles. The Structure is adorned with abalone and other natural features which compliment the clients career as a naturalist and ecologist.
